Back to blogging! To kick off the restart of my blog, I’m going to offer up some prints from my award-winning series on musician Phillip Roebuck. I documented Phillip in 2014, starting with the album release party for his latest album, The Alpine Butterfly (take a listen here). I followed along as Phillip and his wife Phoenix criss-crossed the East Coast, playing benefit shows, opening for The Devil Makes Three, and working in the studio at home. The story went on to be published in The Washington Post Sunday Magazine and was even recognized by the Virginia News Photographers Association (1st place feature picture story) and White House News Photographers Association (second place feature picture story).
In 2015 I had a solo exhibition at O’Connor Brewing in Norfolk of this work, and along with the 15 photos on display, I printed 5 copies of 5 photos from the show. These are 11×17 prints mounted to 16×20 mattes, signed by me, and by the man himself, Phillip Roebuck. I have
22 19 prints left, and I am clearing these out at $100 each. You can pay with Paypal, an “add to cart” button is below.
